An 8 week series

Every Wednesday from 6-8pm, starting June 5th, 2024
Each week will be a different form of creative writing. Our goal is to see which unique aspects will come out of us with each one, helping to amplify our writing skills, curiosity, creativity, emotions and personal healing along the way.
I will guide you with prompts, tools, time limits, and give you tips on how to conquer writing blocks. In doing so we will open up different avenues of growth in your writing and ways of viewing your creativity.

A little about me:
My name is Jevranne Martel and I’ve benefitted from creative writing for as long as I can remember, yet found more consistency with it since 2014, bringing me to write and release two books with likely many others in my future. I find words absolutely fascinating and I love seeing how others express themselves when we throw the standard “rules” out the window and allow a different magic to flow through us.
Over the past 10 years I’ve seen how befriending words via short stories and poetry has benefitted not only me in my personal healing journey, but many others who have worked with me.
In this I hope to guide you on your journey of creative flow and self expression in multiple ways. Whether that be to heal deeper layers of yourself or to simply have fun, we will journey through this together to give you more strength to take on writing blocks in the future.

Conquering Insecurities
An 8 week series in Charlottetown, PEI
Every Thursday from 6-8pm, starting June 6th, 2024
We will start by learning more about insecurities we individually hold and connecting to one another.
Then we will focus on the main insecurities I’ve heard many share on my travels across Canada.
Each week we will work on tactics to conquer those very things with mini “challenges” to do throughout the week we’re apart.
The goal is to open up, allow ourselves to be seen in a safe space and overcome those issues that have been holding us back.

A little about me:
My name is Jevranne Martel and for over two and a half decades I struggled with many different insecurities. One day I realized how much I was being held back from living my life because of those and decided it was time to truly blast them out. I consistently did the work needed with help from avenues that were guided my way. In this journey I broke free from the boxes I felt placed in that held me captive from expressing myself and the glory of who I naturally am, bringing me back to appreciating my authentic self.
Throughout this I was guided to work with others in my photography to help increase confidence, self esteem and bringing power back to the body, mind, soul and emotions that want to be expressed.
Together we will expand on the beauty of all that is YOU!
